"My True story...  What Drives Me To Create
Meaningful Images For You
To Cherish For Your Lifetime...
About Us
My true love Lauretta and I met on line.  We kept the air ways hot
with 14 trips between Austin and Seattle for almost a year and
married in July of 2005.  We know that God brought us together.
Lauretta is my help mate and soul mate for life.
My TRUE Story - One That Shows What Photography Can Really Mean
I Am Driven To Produce Photographs That Are
As Meaningful To You as That Photograph Of
My Dad With Our Pet Cat Is To Me!
My true story - one that actually brings me to tears every time I tell it.  As hard as it may be to believe, I promise
you this is the truth.  I had some nightmares the other night, guess that was natural since my father passed away
July 12, of 2001.  It was a very emotional time for me.  I still really miss him, we were very close.  I have a very
special photograph that I took of him and our special pet cat Kitsy, of him fishing with her. That photograph is my
most prized possession; it means the world to me.  I have an adequately sized photograph now so I can enjoy it
every day.  The cat Kitsy had a heart condition also and died three months after my father did, she was a very
special pet.  Kitsy  would walk on a leash, was very concerned about people’s feelings, when you were crying she
would be so concerned, she would come up to you and put her paw on you.  Kitsy loved to ride in the truck with
Dad and I, she would go on trips with us. I am so happy that I have that photograph!  I am crying right now a bit,
but I felt that I needed to share that with you.

Fortunately, I Also Have a Special Photograph Of My Parents Together.

Back in I first started out in photography I made a very special photograph of my parents together.  It is an old
fashioned studio photograph of them looking at each other, what shows is the tremendous love they shared for
forty two years. I really am glad I have that photograph; it is the second most important possession I have.

I Just Didn't Understand The Real Emotional Value Of Photographs.

I have been photographing weddings since 1965, hundreds of them.  What I did not’t fully realize was the value of
photographs to people.  From time to time Mom would insist that I take another family photograph, at that time I
really did not’t appreciate the value of those photographs but I certainly do now.
I do regret not taking a family portrait of my new family that included my Father and Mother and Lauretta's Mother
and Father as they passed from this earth years ago.  I very much cherish the photographs of Lauretta and I that
we have taken and are going to take in the future.

That very story sums up the reason I am now a photographer.  Creating photographs that mean that much to
people - I can't imagine anything that would make me feel more fulfilled as an artist.

I Now Fully Realize That The One Thing That Can Never Be Replaced - That We MUST Hold On
To - Are The Memories We Share With Those We Love.

Life is so terribly short. But, at the same time, life is such a wonderful gift.  And the memories we keep
of these moments with our family will last forever.
